Deltagelseskriterier
Berettigelseskriterier
Aldre berettiget til at studere
Tager imod sunde frivillige
Beskrivelse
Inklusionskriterier:
- Afroamerikanske kvinder i alderen ≥60
- BMI ≥30 kg/m2
- Stabil kropsvægt (± 2 kg i 6 måneder før undersøgelse)
- Stillesiddende (ikke motionerer mere end 1 time om ugen)
Betingede inklusionskriterier:
- demens
- neurologiske tilstande, der forårsager funktionelle begrænsninger
- ustabil medicinsk sygdom såsom ustabil angina, nylig MI eller kongestiv hjertesvigt klasse III-IV
- terminale medicinske tilstande

Quality of Life (QoL) as Measured by 36-item Short Form Survey (SF-36) - General Health
Tidsramme: Baseline, 3 months, 6 months
|
The SF-36 consists of eight scaled scores, which are the weighted sums of the questions in their section.
Each scale is directly transformed into a 0-100 scale on the assumption that each question carries equal weight.
The lower the score the more disability.
The higher the score the less disability, i.e., a score of zero is equivalent to maximum disability and a score of 100 is equivalent to no disability.
