全身療法の対象となる非部分性白斑の成人および青年被験者を対象としたウパダシチニブの有効性、安全性、忍容性を評価するための第III相ランダム化プラセボ対照二重盲検試験
白斑は一般的な慢性自己免疫疾患であり、体の免疫系が自らの色素を生成する皮膚細胞を攻撃する原因となります。 この研究は、非分節性白斑（NSV）の参加者においてウパダシチニブがどの程度安全で有効であるかを評価することを目的としています。 副作用と疾患活動性の変化が評価されます。
ウパダシチニブは、さまざまな免疫介在性炎症性疾患の承認薬であり、現在、NSV の治療薬として研究中です。 2 つの反復研究が同時に実行されます。 期間 A では、参加者は治療群と呼ばれる 2 つのグループのうちの 1 つに配置されます。 各グループは異なる治療を受けます。 参加者がプラセボを受ける確率は 3 人に 1 人、参加者がウパダシチニブを受ける確率は 3 人に 2 人です。 期間 B では、参加者全員が 1 つの治療群に参加し、全員がウパダシチニブの投与を受けます。 世界中の約 90 施設での各研究には、NSV を患う成人および青少年の約 270 人が登録されます (参加者は合計 540 人)。
期間 A では、参加者はウパダシチニブまたはプラセボの経口錠剤を 1 日 1 回、48 週間投与されます。 期間 B では、参加者はウパダシチニブ 15 mg の経口錠剤を 1 日 1 回、112 週間投与されます。 参加者は30日間追跡調査されます。
この試験の参加者には、標準治療に比べて治療負担が大きくなる可能性があります。 参加者は研究期間中、病院または診療所を定期的に受診します。 治療の効果は、医学的評価、血液検査、副作用の確認、アンケートへの記入などによって確認されます。
