大腸癌（CRC）は、世界中で診断される3番目に多い癌の種類です。 この研究の目的は、c-Met過剰発現難治性転移性大腸癌（mCRC）の成人参加者において、テリソツズマブ・アジズテカンとベバシズマブの併用療法を、標準治療（SOC）であるLONSURF（トリフルリジンおよびチピラシル）とベバシズマブの併用療法と比較して、有害事象と疾患活動性の変化を評価することです。
テリソツズマブ・アジズテカンは、CRCの治療のために開発中の研究用医薬品です。 参加者はその後、治療群と呼ばれる2つのグループに無作為に割り付けられます。 一方のグループは、異なる用量のテリソツズマブ・アジズテカンとベバシズマブを受け取ります。 もう一方のグループは、標準治療（SOC）であるトリフルリジンとチピラシル（LONSURF）とベバシズマブを受け取ります。 世界中の約125施設で、難治性mCRCの成人参加者約700名が本研究に登録される予定です。
