- 현재 주요 우울 장애에 대한 DSM-IV-TR 기준을 충족합니다.
- 환자의 현재 주요우울증 삽화는 지속 기간이 최소 8주 이상 18개월 이하여야 합니다.
제외 기준:
- 임신한 여성, 연구 기간 동안 모유 수유를 할 여성, 신뢰할 수 있는 피임 방법을 시행하지 않는 가임 여성
다음에 대한 DSM-IV-TR 기준을 충족한 이력이 있는 환자:
- 양극성 장애 및 물질로 유발된 조증, 경조증 또는 혼합 삽화를 포함한 모든 조증, 경조증 또는 혼합 삽화;
- 정신병적 또는 긴장증적 특징이 있는 모든 우울 삽화;
- 광장공포증을 동반하거나 동반하지 않는 공황 장애;
- 강박 장애;
- 정신분열증, 정신분열정동 또는 기타 정신병적 장애;
- 폭식증 또는 신경성 식욕부진;
