건강한 간병인-건강한 어린이(HC2) 2단계: 문화적으로 민감한 소아 비만 예방 전략을 정책에 통합

상세 설명
모든 주가 보육 면허 표준을 책임지고 있지만, 현재 100만 명이 넘는 미취학 아동을 대상으로 하는 26개 주가 QRIS를 시행하고 있습니다. MDC에서 QRIS 제휴 보육 시설(이 시점부터 총칭하여 Quality Counts 또는 QC 센터라고 함)은 417개 센터에서 MDC 취학 연령 아동의 1/3(80%는 소수 민족)을 돌봅니다. 현재 어린이집에 대한 QRIS 기준에 포함된 영양 정책은 없습니다. 따라서 현재 아동 비만 전염병에 비추어 이 프로젝트는 HC2 구현을 통해 어린이집 환경에서 지식의 주요 격차와 건강한 식품 소비에 대한 접근성의 격차를 해결할 것입니다.
이 연구는 이전에 자금을 지원받은 작업을 기반으로 하며 교육자와 부모를 모두 영양 게이트키퍼로 활용하여 유아 환경에서 효과적인 비만 예방 전략을 테스트하기 위한 프로젝트의 1단계에서 USDA가 수행한 초기 3년(2010-2013) 투자를 극대화할 것입니다. 2세에서 5세 어린이를 위한 건강한 라이프스타일 롤모델. 이 제안된 프로젝트(2단계)의 목표는 트레이너 교육 모델을 통해 보육 센터에 프로그램/툴킷의 소유권을 부여하고 영양 및 신체 활동 표준을 품질 등급 향상 시스템.
제안된 통합 프로젝트는 (1) 젊은 비만 예방 노력을 평가하는 과학적 기반의 엄격한 연구 설계를 포함하여 농업 지식 시스템의 세 가지 영역을 모두 다루어 USDA의 국립식량농업연구소(이전의 CSREES) 기능에 대응합니다. 보육 시설의 새로운 환경에 있는 어린이; (2) 교사 및 학부모/가족의 교육 및 역량을 향상시키기 위한 교육 도구 키트 개발. QRIS 네트워크 전체에서 플로리다 FNP와 협력하여 센터에 전달되는 HC2 툴킷과 강사 교육 프로그램 매뉴얼을 통해 확장 및 역량 구축이 강화될 것입니다. 마지막으로 HC2 관행을 영구 QRIS 정책에 통합함으로써 센터는 미래의 어린이, 교사 및 가족을 위한 프로젝트의 혜택을 유지할 수 있습니다. 또한 조사관은 두 명의 커뮤니티 영양사와 협력하여 카운티의 많은 보육 센터에 서비스를 제공하여 프로젝트 자료를 확장할 것입니다. 마지막으로 툴킷은 보육원에 HC2 소유권을 부여하여 프로젝트 수명 이후에도 교육 및 확장 기능을 유지할 것입니다.
