이 연구는 제2형 당뇨병 참가자를 대상으로 저용량 인슐린 글라진과 함께 세마글루타이드를 고용량 인슐린 글라진과 비교합니다.
이 연구는 연구 의약품이 혈당 수치를 얼마나 잘 조절하는지 살펴봅니다.
참가자는 저용량의 인슐린 글라진 또는 고용량의 인슐린 글라진과 함께 세마글루타이드를 투여받게 됩니다.
연구는 약 47주(약 11개월) 동안 지속됩니다.
참가자는 클리닉 방문 9회, 전화/화상 통화 15회, 가정 방문 1회를 갖게 됩니다.
참가자들은 연구 기간 동안 10일 동안 2번에 걸쳐 항상 혈당을 측정하는 센서를 착용하도록 요청받을 것입니다.

포함 기준:
- 스크리닝 전 180일에 제2형 진성 당뇨병(T2D) 이상(>=)으로 진단됨.
- 스크리닝 당일 중앙 실험실에서 평가한 7-9%[(몰당 53-75밀리몰(mmol/mol)](둘 다 포함)의 당화혈색소(HbA1c).
- 스크리닝 당일 체질량 지수(BMI)가 25kg/m²(kg/m^2) 이상(>=)입니다.
- 다음 항당뇨병 약물 또는 병용 요법의 스크리닝 전 90일 이상(>=)의 안정적인 일일 투여량(들):
- 1500밀리그램(mg) 이상(>=) 또는 최대 허용 용량 또는 유효 용량 이상의 모든 메트포르민 제제.

제외 기준:

참가자는 처음에 주 1회 0.25mg의 세마글루타이드를 피하(s.c.)로 투여받게 되며, 용량 감소 인슐린 글라진 s.c.

인슐린 글라진 U100은 세마글루타이드 시작 시 10U 감소한 다음 각 세마글루타이드 용량 증량 시 다시 감소합니다.
인슐린 글라진 용량은 3회의 아침 식사 전 자가 측정 혈장 포도당(SMPG) 값(목표 SMPG: 4.4-7.2)의 평균을 기준으로 조정됩니다.

Score of Diabetes Treatment Satisfaction Questionnaire - change version (DTSQc) at end of treatment (week 40) were reported.
The DTSQc provided a measure of how satisfied participants were with their current diabetes treatment compared with previous treatment.
It consisted of 8 questions, which were to be answered on a Likert scale from -3 to +3 (-3 = much less satisfied now to +3 = much more satisfied now), with 0 (midpoint) representing no change.
Out of 8 questions, 6 questions related to treatment satisfaction were summed to produce a total score.
The DTSQc total treatment satisfaction score ranged from -18 to +18, with higher scores associated with greater treatment satisfaction.

SF-36 is self-administered questionnaire that measures each of following 8 health domains: physical functioning, role limitations due to physical problems (role-physical), social functioning, bodily pain, mental health, role limitations due to emotional problems (role-emotional), vitality, and general health perception.
There are also 2 component scores derived from the 8 subscale scores: mental component summary and physical component summary.
Physical component summary contains physical functioning, role-physical, bodily pain and general health and mental component summary contain vitality, social functioning, role-emotional and mental health.
Each SF-36 domain and component summary score ranges from 0 to 100, higher scores reflect better participant health status.
A positive change score indicates an improvement since baseline.
