Beschrijving
Inclusiecriteria:
- Kinderen van 2 t/m 6 jaar met diagnose Cerebrale Parese, naast medische, fysiotherapeutische en psychologische verwijzing met indicatie praktijk Hippotherapie
- Kinderen geclassificeerd met GMFCS-niveaus 2, 3, 4 of 5
- Begrip, akkoord en ondertekening van het formulier voor gratis en geïnformeerde toestemming
- Begrip, akkoord en ondertekening van de gratis en geïnformeerde instemmingstermijn, indien van toepassing
- Mogelijkheid om 1 of 2 keer per week deel te nemen aan een rijprogramma voor een periode van 16 weken
- Voer gelijktijdig 1 of 2 keer per week traditionele fysiotherapie uit
Uitsluitingscriteria:
- Aanwezigheid van geassocieerde syndromen of structurele misvormingen die Hippotherapie onmogelijk maken
- Huidige aanvallen zonder medicatiecontrole
- Heeft niet genoeg heupgewrichtamplitude om te rijden (ongeveer 20 graden abductie)
- Een invasieve of chirurgische ingreep ondergaan tijdens het onderzoek
- Heb eerder deelgenomen aan een programma voor paardentherapie
