Description
Inclusion Criteria:
- undergoing elective colorectal surgery, including but not limited to colectomy, rectal resection, and sigmoid resection.
Exclusion Criteria:
- Emergency surgery
- Total colectomy
- Creation of a stoma
- Pre-existing gastrointestinal disorders
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment
- Known hypersensitivity to prucalopride.
