Beskrivelse
Inklusionskriterier:
- Alle patienter bør søge efter implantatstøttet protese i posterior maxilla bilateralt
- Alle patienter bør have atrofieret posterior maksillær ryg med den maksimale højde af alveolær knogle er fra 3 mm til 5 mm
Ekskluderingskriterier:
- Løbende steroidbehandling;
- Ukontrolleret diabetes;
- Nylige hjerte-kar-sygdomme;
- Betændelse i den maksillære sinus;
- Tidligere strålebehandling for neoplastiske patologier
- Patienter, der tidligere har haft mislykket sinusforstørrelse eller udvist patologiske fund eller haft en historie med maxillær sinussygdom eller operationer, eller hvis medicinske tilstand kunne øge den kirurgiske risiko for forskningsprotokollen, blev udelukket.

Patienter vil gennemgå åbent sinusløft med nanokrystallinsk hydroxyapatit som forstærkningsmateriale og placere implantater samtidigt, derefter evaluering af knoglemængden i åben sinusløftteknik med samtidig implantation (nanokrystallinsk hydroxyapatit)
