Tuleva ei-interventiivinen tutkimus Structum®:sta nivelrikkoa sairastavilla aikuispotilailla

Kondroitiinisulfaatti (CS) on SYSADOA ja luonnollinen biomakromolekyyli, joka kuuluu glykosaminoglykaanien luokkaan. CS on ekstrasellulaarisen matriisin (ECM) pääkomponentti, jossa se on proteoglykaanien olennainen komponentti.

Kaikki polven oA-potilaat, joille Structum® on määrätty osallistuvassa keskuksessa, seulotaan peräkkäin kelpoisuuden varalta. Tutkimus keskittyy yksinomaan potilaisiin, joilla on polven nivel, koska tämä nivel on useimmiten kärsinyt ja helpoimmin arvioitava OA-potilailla.

Tutkimusväestö

Tutkimuspopulaatio sisältää 50–80-vuotiaita aikuisia potilaita, joilla on vahvistettu polven nivelrikkodiagnoosi ja uusi Structum®-resepti, joita hoitavat osallistuvat keskukset Puolassa.

Kuvaus

Sisällön kriteerit:

  • Mies- tai naispotilaat, joiden ikä on 50–80 vuotta
  • polven OA (joko potilas, joka on äskettäin diagnosoitu [mukautettuna] tai jolla on aiemmin ollut polven OA) vähintään seuraavien kohtien 1 ja/tai 2 perusteella:

    1. polvikipu, joka kestää vähintään 3 kuukautta;
    2. potilas polven OA-sairauden aktiivisessa vaiheessa (polvikipupisteet ≥ 40 mm visuaalisen analogisen asteikon [VAS] mukaan 0-100 mm);
    3. polven röntgenkuvat, joissa näkyy polvinivelen kapeneminen ja/tai osteofyyttejä.
  • Potilaat, joille on määrätty Structum®, ensimmäistä kertaa tai ei.
  • Jos potilas käyttää tulehduskipulääkkeitä tai muita kipulääkkeitä, potilas voi olla vakaassa annoksessa vähintään viikkoa ennen tutkimukseen ottamista.
  • Potilaat voivat käydä klinikalla ja osallistua seurantakäynneille.
  • Potilaat, jotka ovat allekirjoittaneet tietoisen suostumuslomakkeen paikallisten määräysten mukaisesti.

Poissulkemiskriteerit:

  • Potilaat, joilla on meneillään kondroitiinisulfaattihoito sisällyttämisen yhteydessä tai viimeisen 3 kuukauden aikana.
  • plasma (viimeisten 3 kuukauden aikana). Ei glukokortikoideja viimeisen 3 kuukauden aikana ennen sisällyttämistä. Tämä ei sisällä tulehduskipulääkkeitä, parasetamolia ja muita kipulääkkeitä (esim. tramadoli).
