Criterio di inclusione:
- Non aveva segni o sintomi di malattia
- Nessun trauma ortopedico
- Deve essere inattivo o moderatamente attivo (definito come eseguire qualsiasi tipo di esercizio fisico meno di due volte a settimana)
- Devono essere non fumatori
- Deve essere esente dall'uso di ausili ergogenici
- Non aveva disordini metabolici o malattie degenerative croniche
- Non utilizzare la terapia farmacologica per la perdita di massa corporea.
Criteri di esclusione:
- Aveva una frequenza alle sessioni di allenamento inferiore all'85% delle sessioni totali
