巨細胞性動脈炎またはホートン病は、大きな血管に影響を与える血管炎です。 これは、50 歳以上の人口の最も頻繁な血管炎です。 この血管炎は、本質的にリンパ球で構成される動脈膜の炎症性浸潤の起点にある。 臨床徴候は、全身状態の悪化、異常な頭痛、顎の痛み、頭皮の知覚過敏ですが、深刻な虚血性合併症、特に失明の可能性がある眼科的合併症の可能性もあります。 これまでの標準治療は、高用量のコルチコステロイド療法です。
診断は、1990 年にさかのぼるアメリカ リウマチ学会の基準に基づいています。 再発率は重要で、研究によると 10 ~ 64% の範囲です。 また、ステロイド依存症の問題もある。
したがって、巨細胞性動脈炎の新しい診断マーカーと治療法を決定することが重要です。
この研究では、炎症のいくつかのバイオマーカーが研究され、巨細胞性動脈炎の診断と追跡のために、それらの1つまたは多くが優れた感度と特別な機能を持っているかどうかを判断します.
