詳細な説明
前立腺癌 (PCa) の一次治療は加齢に伴う体組成の変化と身体機能および生活の質の低下を加速させます。 PCa 診断時の年齢の中央値は 66 歳で、PCa 生存者の約 64% は 70 歳以上です。
治療の負の副作用は、既存の併存症を有する年配の、座りがちな、太りすぎまたは肥満の男性で顕著です。
骨格筋量の減少、脂肪組織の沈着の増加、および骨ミネラル密度の減少は、骨折、癌関連の疲労、虚弱、身体機能の低下、身体障害および自立の喪失、ならびに不安およびうつ病につながります。
定期的な身体活動は、罹患率を減らし、生存率を改善し、治療の負の副作用に対して PCa 患者を緩和することができますが、推奨されるガイドラインを満たしている患者は 20% 未満であり、ほとんどの人が毎日最大 70% の時間を座りっぱなしの行動に費やしています。
定期的な抵抗トレーニングと組み合わせて定期的な自発運動を促進することにより、座りがちな行動の減少を目標とすることは、疲労や機能障害の可能性が高いPCa患者にとって効果的なアプローチかもしれません.
伝統的な理論に基づく運動介入は、短期的な運動を促進するための予備的な有効性を示していますが、長期的な有効性のために改善することができます.
従来の運動介入は一般的に個別に調整されていないため、自己調整の失敗が発生したときに参加者を再関与させるために行動理論を組み込むことはできません.

- 現在(過去 2 年間)WFBMC で前立腺がんの治療を受けています。

- 英語を話す。
