この実現可能性研究は、定量的および定性的な方法を取り入れ、制御されていない事前テスト - 事後テストの準実験的デザインを利用して、摂食障害患者の若者向けケアから成人向けケアへの移行を改善することを目的とした、ピアメンターが提供する介入の有効性と受容性を調べます。 (ED) 16~24 歳。
若者は、ノバスコシア州全体の地域ベースの診療所、病院プログラム、および個人開業から採用されます。 これらの設定の臨床医は、若者向けの治療から年を取りつつある可能性のある若者、ED の若者向けの現在の標準治療に適合しないと見なされる、または成人向けのケアへの移行を要求する、潜在的に適格な若者を特定するよう求められます。 参加に興味があり、書面による同意を提供する潜在的な参加者は、適格性を判断するためのスクリーニング会議のために研究チームのメンバーと会います。 若者の参加者の包含基準は次のとおりです:16〜24歳、若者向けのED治療からの移行、署名済みのインフォームドコンセントフォーム、およびDSM-5研究バージョンの構造化臨床面接(SCID-5-)で確認された現在のED診断RV)。 若者の参加者の唯一の除外基準は、Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale を介して評価されるスクリーニングでの自殺リスク評価が中程度から高いことです。 すべてのスクリーニング情報は、PI (Dr. ケシェン)。 研究に興味がない、または適格基準を満たしていない参加者には、治療年齢の若者が利用できる標準的なオプションが与えられます。

青少年の参加者は、介入を開始する前、介入を完了した後、および介入を開始してから 12 か月後にアンケート パッケージに記入するよう求められます。 一部の若者は、これらの同じ時点で研究チームのメンバーとの 1 対 1 のインタビューに参加するよう求められます。 一部の若者の参加者は、研究に介護者を巻き込みたいかどうか尋ねられます. 世話をしている若者が介入を開始してから 12 か月後に、介護者は研究チームのメンバーとの 1 対 1 のインタビューに参加するよう招待されます。 ピアメンターは、研究の最後に一対一のインタビューに参加するよう招待されます。 インタビューの目的は、摂食障害の治療、ケアの移行、ピア メンターの介入に関する経験を理解することです。

これは、The Treatment Self-Regulation Questionnaire (TSRQ; Levesque et al., 2007) を使用して、ベースライン時、介入後、および 12 か月後のフォローアップ時に測定されます。
TSRQ は、健康行動や治療に従事する際に患者が使用する動機のタイプ (自律的または外部的/制御的) を評価する、信頼性が高く有効な自己報告アンケートです。
TSRQ は 12 の質問で構成され、スコアは 1 (「まったくそう思わない」) から 7 (「強くそう思う」) の範囲です。
TSRQ は、特定のヘルスケアの結果 (ED 関連など) を測定するように変更できます。
さらに、TSRQ は以前、6 か月以上の期間を含む、健康関連の介入の前後の自律的動機の変化を検出するために使用されてきました (例: Stamp et al., 2016; Knittle et al., 2015)。
最近のスコーピング レビューでは、TAY のメンタルヘルス関連の移行介入を具体的に評価するための検証済みの定量的尺度はないと判断されました (Cleverly et al., 2018)。

HCCQ は TSRQ に付随する尺度であり、自律的な動機付けと治療遵守と正の関連があります (Williams et al., 2006; Chan et al., 2009)。
HCCQ は、有効で信頼できる 6 項目の自己報告アンケートで、スコアは 1 (「強く同意しない」) から 7 (「強く同意する」) までです。
