이 타당성 연구는 정량적 방법과 정성적 방법을 통합하고 통제되지 않은 사전-사후 준 실험 설계를 활용하여 섭식 장애가 있는 환자를 위한 청소년에서 성인 중심 치료로의 전환을 개선하는 것을 목표로 하는 동료 멘토 제공 중재의 효과와 수용 가능성을 조사합니다. (ED) 16-24세.
Nova Scotia 전역의 지역사회 기반 클리닉, 병원 프로그램 및 개인 진료에서 청소년을 모집할 것입니다. 이러한 환경의 임상의는 청소년 중심 치료에서 나이가 들고, ED가 있는 청소년을 위한 현재 표준 치료와 양립할 수 없는 것으로 간주되거나, 성인 중심 치료로의 전환을 요청하는 잠재적으로 적격한 청소년을 식별하도록 요청받을 것입니다. 참여에 관심이 있고 서면 동의를 제공하는 잠재적 참가자는 자격 상태를 결정하기 위해 심사 회의를 위해 연구팀 구성원과 만날 것입니다. 청소년 참가자의 포함 기준은 다음과 같습니다: 16-24세, 청소년 중심의 ED 치료에서 전환, 사전 동의서에 서명, DSM-5 연구 버전에 대한 구조화된 임상 인터뷰(SCID-5- RV). 청소년 참여자에 대한 유일한 제외 기준은 Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale을 통해 평가된 스크리닝 시 중간에서 높은 수준의 자살 위험 등급입니다. 모든 선별 정보는 PI(Dr. 케센). 연구에 관심이 없거나 자격 기준을 충족하지 못하는 참가자에게는 치료 연령 청소년이 사용할 수 있는 표준 옵션이 제공됩니다.
자격이 있는 것으로 확인된 청소년 참가자는 3-6개월 전환 개입을 위해 훈련된 동료 멘토와 연결됩니다. 청소년과 동료 멘토는 개입 단계와 청소년의 필요에 따라 매주, 격주 또는 매월 만납니다. 개입은 3단계로 나뉩니다. 1단계에는 전환과 관련된 목표, 강점, 도전 및 장벽 식별뿐만 아니라 신뢰감, 교감 및 동기 부여가 포함됩니다. 2단계는 자기 성찰, 문제 해결 및 전환 계획에 중점을 둡니다. 3단계는 동료 멘토 관계의 점진적인 감소 및 종료를 포함합니다.
청소년 참가자는 개입 시작 전, 개입 완료 후, 개입 시작 12개월 후 설문지 패키지를 작성해야 합니다. 일부 청소년은 또한 같은 시점에 연구팀 구성원과 일대일 인터뷰에 참여하도록 요청받을 것입니다. 일부 청소년 참가자는 간병인을 연구에 참여시키고 싶은지 질문을 받을 것입니다. 간병인은 그들이 돌보고 있는 청소년이 개입을 시작한 지 12개월 후에 연구팀 구성원과 일대일 인터뷰에 참여하도록 초대됩니다. 동료 멘토는 연구가 끝날 때 일대일 인터뷰에 참여하도록 초대됩니다. 인터뷰의 목적은 섭식 장애 치료, 치료 전환 및 동료 멘토 개입에 대한 경험을 이해하는 것입니다.
