乳がんの結果の格差は持続的です。 米国では、乳がんが最も一般的であり、2番目に致命的な女性であり、2021年に推定281,550の新しい侵襲的乳がん診断と43,600人の乳がんによる死亡があります。 十分なサービスを受けていない女性は、医療に十分なアクセスを受けていない人々は、これらの死亡で不釣り合いに代表されており、発生率が低いが死亡率が高くなっています。 1990年以来、米国の乳がん死亡率は年間約2%減少していますが、社会的および経済的に恵まれない女性は、その間に乳がんの死亡率の増加を経験しています。 農村部の女性は、診断の遅延を経験する可能性が高く、都市の女性と比較して病気の進行段階と診断される可能性が最大1.5倍高くなります。

実験的:介入
211人の情報スペシャリスト(ISS)とのコミュニティサービスナビゲーションは、患者の好みに応じて、電話、テキスト、または電子メールを介して紹介から48時間以内に参加者にアウトリーチを行います。
最初の接触の2週間後、ISSは患者にフォローアップして、ServicePointで紹介されたサービスの追加サポートと文書の使用を提供します。
