유방암 검진의 건강 형평성을 향상하기 위한 지역사회 서비스 탐색 (B-SINCERE)

상세 설명
유방암 결과의 불균형은 지속적입니다. 미국에서 유방암은 여성에서 가장 흔하고 두 번째로 치명적인 암이며, 2021 년에 281,550 개의 새로운 침습성 유방암 진단과 43,600 개의 유방암 사망이 있습니다. 의료 서비스에 적절한 접근을 할 수없는 사람들은 그 사망에서 불균형 적으로 대표되어 발병률이 낮지 만 사망률이 높습니다. 1990 년 이후 미국 유방암 사망률이 매년 약 2% 감소한 반면, 사회적으로나 경제적으로 불우한 여성은 그 당시 유방암 사망률이 증가했습니다. 농촌 여성은 진단 지연을 경험할 가능성이 높으며 도시 여성과 비교하여 고급 질병으로 진단 될 가능성이 최대 1.5 배 더 높습니다.
유방 선별 검사 후속 조치를 촉진하기 위해 지역 사회 항법을 위해 기존 사회 시스템을 활용합니다. 우리의 연구에 따르면 임상 환경에서의 사회적 요구 스크리닝과 United Way 211의 커뮤니티 추천 서비스 사이의 연계는 임상 워크 플로에 적응할 수있는 기존의 저렴한 소프트웨어 솔루션을 사용하여 가능하다는 것을 보여주었습니다. 구체적으로, 성실한 10 개 항목 사회 요구 스크리너는 지역 사회 서비스 내비게이션과 결합되어 무작위 통제 시험에서 테스트되었습니다. 이 시험은 취약하고 소외된 환자의 요구를 해결하기 위해이 저렴한 비용, 널리 사용 가능한 솔루션의 효능의 효능을 보여 주었다. 즉, 211 Active Outreach v. 수동 정보 가보고 된 사회적 요구를 해결하기위한 수동 정보. 그러나이 시험은 응급실에서 수행되었으며 다른 임상 환경에서는 테스트되지 않았습니다. 유방암 검진 분야에서 수십 년간의 작업을 마치고 다수의 PI는 유방 촬영 클리닉에서 성실한 사회 서비스 스크리너 ( "B-sincere")의 적응을 조종하는 학제 간 팀을 구성했습니다. 이 연구는 유방암 선별 에피소드 완료 증가에 대한 B- 진실한 지역 사회 내비게이션 개입의 실제 효능 (NIH 단계 3)을 테스트 할 것입니다. 효과적인 경우,이 개입은 주 전역의 지역 사회 서비스 제공 업체 및 기존 건강 정보 기술로 확장 될 수 있습니다. 따라서 비정상적인 유방 조영술이있는 소외 계층 여성의 조기 발견에 실질적인 영향을 미치고 유방암 결과를 향상시킬 것이라는 약속은이 작업의 가장 중요한 운전자입니다.

211 명의 정보 전문가 (ISS)와의 커뮤니티 서비스 내비게이션은 환자 선호도에 따라 전화, 텍스트 또는 이메일을 통해 48 시간 이내에 참가자에게 봉사 활동을 수행합니다.
초기 연락 후 2 주 후 ISS 환자와의 후속 조치를 취하여 ServicePoint에서 추가 지원 및 문서 사용을 제공합니다.
