対象者条件:
- 18歳以上であること。
- HIV感染リスクが高い性的に活動的なシスジェンダー男性(米国生まれおよび外国生まれで米国在住者)であり、過去3か月間に男性とのコンドーム不使用の肛門性交(CAS)を報告していること。
- 過去3か月または6か月の間に少なくとも1日、覚醒剤(メタンフェタミン、粉末コカイン、またはクラックコカイン)の使用を報告していること。
- HIV陰性の血清学的状態であること。
- バイリンガル(スペイン語と英語)、またはスペイン語または英語の単一言語話者であること。
- CDCのPrEP適格基準を満たしていること。
除外条件:
- 同意能力が低下している(例:認知障害)。
- より集中的な治療を必要とする重度の精神症状(例:精神病)がある。
- HIV陽性またはHIVと共生している場合。
- すでにPrEPを服用している場合。

実験的:実験条件
実験条件(テーラード行動介入)に無作為に割り付けられた参加者は、ファシリテーターとの1対1のセッションを行います。
介入は、6回の個別実施セッション(週1~2回、各回約1.5時間)で構成されます。
介入はインタラクティブで、以下の要素を含みます:ラポールと信頼構築活動;教授法;モデリングと議論を促進するためのマルチメディア(例:ビデオ)メッセージ;ロールプレイとスキル構築、練習、フィードバック。
介入は、研究チームのメンバーでもあるCITI認定ファシリテーターが主導します。
