상세 설명
일반 개요:
이 연구에 참여하기로 선택한 모든 적격 참가자는 기본 방문 1회와 후속 방문 1회를 완료하도록 요청받을 것입니다. MCI 참가자는 연구 등록이 확인되면 실험 그룹(음악 그룹) 또는 통제 그룹(비음악 그룹)에 무작위로 배정됩니다.
연구는 평가에 따라 다른 장소에서 실시될 수 있습니다. 선별 평가는 전화 및 연구 직원과 직접 대면하여 진행됩니다. 기준선 및 후속 평가는 BRC(Bioscience Research Collaborative) 캠퍼스와 Methodist Research Institute-Translational Imaging Center에서 진행됩니다.
평가 방문. 관심 있는 개인은 Rice University의 BRC(BioScience Research Collaborative) 건물, Suite 140에서 기본 채혈, 건강 평가, 인지 및 행동 작업, 사회적 및 정서적 웰빙 평가를 위한 첫 번째 방문을 완료합니다. 참가자는 스스로 이동하거나 간병인 또는 가족 구성원을 통해 BRC 건물로 이동합니다. 기준선 및 후속 신경 영상은 Methodist Research Institute-Translational Imaging Center에서 수행됩니다. 또한 참가자와 간병인(존재하는 경우)의 사회적, 신체적, 정서적 웰빙은 중재 전후에 일련의 설문지로 평가됩니다.
오전 7시 30분에서 10시 30분 사이에 방문이 시작될 예정입니다. 연구 코디네이터는 연구에 대한 자세한 설명을 제공하고 질문에 답하며 서면 동의서를 얻을 것입니다. 참가자는 설문지, 인지 작업 및 건강 평가(심박수, 체중, 혈압 및 허리둘레 측정)를 완료하고 혈액을 채취합니다. 간병인은 참여에 동의한 경우 사회적 및 정서적 웰빙과 관련된 자가 보고 설문지를 작성합니다. fMRI를 사용한 신경 활동은 Houston Methodist Hospital Translational Imaging Center에서 수집됩니다. 음악 과정을 마친 후 참가자는 한 번의 후속 방문이 예정되어 있습니다. 기본 및 후속 방문은 BRC에서 약 2-3시간, Methodist Imaging Center에서 약 1.5시간 지속되어야 합니다.
음악 개입. 실험 그룹의 참가자들은 Rice's Shepherd School of Music과 관련된 음악가가 이끄는 6주간의 음악 교육을 받게 됩니다. 음악 개입은 Rice University의 메인 캠퍼스 또는 Bioscience Research Collaborative에서 진행됩니다. Dr. Brandt와 Musiqa의 다른 수상 경력에 빛나는 작곡가들이 디자인한 6주간의 창작 음악 과정은 Rice Shepherd School of Music의 대학원생 작곡가들이 가르칠 것입니다. 코스를 가능한 한 접근 가능하게 만들기 위해 참가자는 악보를 읽을 수 있거나 사전 음악적 배경이 있을 필요가 없으며 코스 강사는 훈련받지 않은 음악가에게 효과적으로 영감을 주는 확립된 방법을 활용합니다. 음악 그룹의 개인은 두 번의 평가 방문(개입 전 및 개입 후)을 완료합니다.
베이스라인 방문 후에는 일주일에 3일, 하루 2시간씩 6주간의 그룹 음악 수업에 참여하게 됩니다.
일일 음악 워크숍은 Rice Shepherd School of Music과 관련된 음악가가 진행합니다.
워크숍은 점점 더 정교해지면서 매주 신중하게 난이도를 조정할 것입니다.
예를 들어, 첫 주의 청취는 기악 에튀드와 민요와 같은 짧고 더 친숙한 작품에 초점을 맞출 것입니다.
점차적으로 강사는 보다 생소하고 실험적인 음악뿐만 아니라 교향곡 악장을 구축할 것입니다.
이 과정은 최종 구성을 만드는 것으로 끝납니다.
