상세 설명
실어증은 일반적으로 좌반구의 손상으로 인해 발생하는 쇠약해지는 장애로, 언어 생성, 이해, 읽기, 쓰기를 포함한 다양한 의사소통 능력을 손상시킬 수 있습니다. 매년 약 180,000명의 새로운 실어증 사례가 확인되며, 미국에서는 약 100만 명, 즉 250명 중 1명이 실어증을 앓고 있습니다. 치료는 제한적이며 기껏해야 적당한 이점을 제공합니다. 실어증 재활의 현재 강조점은 집중적인 언어 및 언어 치료를 공식화하고 잠재적으로 치료와 동시에 뇌 자극을 통해 치료 효과를 높이는 것입니다.
현재 연구에서는 실어증이 있는 뇌졸중 생존자의 신경 진동 활동을 복원하는 데 도움이 되는 고화질 tACS(HD-tACS)의 효능을 조사할 예정입니다. TACS는 직류가 아닌 정현파 또는 교류 전류가 전달된다는 점에서 널리 사용되는 뇌 자극 패러다임인 경두개 직류 자극(tDCS)과 다릅니다. TACS는 진행 중인 진동 뇌 활동을 조작하고 목표 뇌 영역 간의 동기화(또는 연결)를 조절하는 것으로 나타났습니다. tACS의 이러한 기능은 언어 장애가 뇌 연결성 감소와 뇌졸중으로 인한 언어 네트워크 중단으로 인해 발생한다는 새로운 증거를 고려할 때 매우 매력적입니다.

- MRI 또는 tACS에 대한 금기 사항(예: 금속성 보형물을 삽입한 환자, 두개골 골절 병력, 임신, 피부질환 병력이 있는 환자

실험적: 단기 기억 집중 언어 치료를 이용한 고화질 tACS
HD-tACS는 2개의 3x1 중앙 서라운드 몽타주를 사용하여 배터리로 작동되는 교류 자극기(Soterix)를 통해 전달됩니다. 전류가 켜지고 약 30초에 걸쳐 램프와 같은 방식으로 증가합니다.
참가자는 2mA 피크 대 피크 강도로 20분 동안 tACS 자극을 받게 됩니다.
자극은 20분 이상 유지되지 않습니다.
이는 단기 기억 집중 언어 치료와 병행됩니다.
