이 준실험 연구의 목표는 스리랑카의 구강암 환자에 대한 조기 완화 치료 중재의 효과를 개발하고 평가하는 것입니다. 이 회사가 대답하려는 주요 질문은 조기 완화 치료 개입이 스리랑카 암 환자의 삶의 질과 심리적 고통을 개선하는지 여부입니다.

상세 설명
이 연구는 스리랑카에서 구강암 치료를 제공하는 3개 3차 의료 기관에서 이루어졌습니다. 콜롬보 국립 치과 병원의 구강 및 악안면 병동(교육); Karapitiya의 Colombo South (Teaching) Hospital의 구강 및 악안면 병동; 국립암연구소 마하라가마(아펙샤 병원)의 종양외과 병동.
참가자 연구 참가자는 최종 진단이 환자에게 전달되었으며 심리적 고통(고난 온도계의 싱할라어 버전으로 검사한 후 4점 이상)을 앓고 있는 구강암 환자였습니다. 첫 번째 치료 방식으로 수술을 기다리고 있습니다. 결혼하여 자녀를 두고 있으며, 여기에는 싱할라어로 의사소통하고 잘 읽을 수 있는 능력을 갖춘 가족 간병인이 한 명 이상 포함되어 있습니다. 제외 기준은 재발성 구강암; 공식적인 정신과 진단; 조기 완화 치료 개입을 받거나 받은 경우. 접근 가능한 공중 보건 간호 담당관의 가용성에 따라 55개의 통제 항목과 55개의 사례로 나누어졌습니다.
개입 6가지 구성 요소로 구성된 조기 완화 치료 패키지는 주요 조사관(PI)과 공중 보건 간호 담당관이 3개의 세션을 통해 전달했습니다.
결과 측정 효과는 Sinhala 버전의 Distress Thermometer를 사용하여 심리적 고통 수준과 모듈 H&N 35가 포함된 EORTC QLQ 30을 사용하여 기준선(T0), 개입 후(T1), 한 달( T2) 및 3개월(T3).

조기 완화 치료 중재 패키지는 복잡한 중재 개발을 위해 영국 의학 연구 위원회에서 제공한 지침에 따라 개발되었습니다.
구강암 환자를 위한 조기 완화의료 개입은 6가지 구성요소로 이루어졌습니다: 1) 정보 제공, 2) 급성 및 기능적 문제 해결, 3) 영양 관리, 4) 심리적 지원, 5) 마음챙김 치료, 6) 재정 수당 조정 .
