Vurdering av en perifer endotelial dysfunksjon ved KOLS (kronisk obstruktiv lungesykdom)
Målet med studien er å vurdere den perifere endotelfunksjonen hos voksne KOLS-pasienter (kronisk obstruktiv lungesykdom) og sammenhengen mellom den perifere endotelfunksjonen og lungefunksjonen.

Detaljert beskrivelse
Det primære kriteriet er den perifere endotelfunksjonen som vil bli vurdert ved mål på strømningsmediert dilatasjon (reaktiv hyperemi-perifer arterietoneindeks).
Lungefunksjonen vil bli vurdert ved målene FEV1 (forsert ekspirasjonsvolum på ett sekund), den forserte vitale kapasiteten (FVC) og ekspirasjonsstrømmen mellom 25 % og 75 % (FEF25-75 %).
Forholdet mellom disse parameterne for lungefunksjonen og den perifere endotelfunksjonen vil bli analysert.
I tillegg en sammenheng mellom perifer endotelfunksjon og alvorlighetsgraden av KOLS (klassifisering i henhold til GOLD (Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease) 2010 og GOLD 2011 og KOLS vurderingstesten, de kardiovaskulære risikofaktorene (SCORE INdex) og røykerstatusen vil også bli vurdert.

Inklusjonskriterier:
- KOLS: FEV1/FVC < 70 %
- Røykere eller tidligere røykere (≥ 10 pakkeår)
- Ingen KOLS-forverring de siste tre månedene
- Ingen historie med astma og ingen luftveisallergi
Ekskluderingskriterier:
- Gravide eller ammende kvinner
- Behandling med pulmonale vasodilatorer
- Pasienter med betydelig akutt sykdom. En signifikant sykdom er definert som en sykdom som etter utrederens mening kan påvirke resultatene av forsøket.
