Projekt: Badacze stosują quasi-eksperymentalny projekt badania zachęcającego, w którym badani mogą wybrać własne terapie CIH, ale niektórym oferuje się dodatkowe zachęty (szturchnięcia), aby wybrali określone terapie CIH. Zamiast być losowo przydzielani do terapii CIH, osoby zostaną przydzielone do jednej z dwóch grup badawczych w oparciu o terapie CIH, z których korzystały sześć miesięcy po rozpoczęciu jakiejkolwiek terapii CIH. Chociaż naliczanie w grupie badanej nie jest przypadkowe, niektóre witryny mają silne praktyki biznesowe / zachęty, które prowadzą do znacznych różnic w terapiach CIH stosowanych przez pacjentów. Zmienność wywołana tymi praktykami biznesowymi / zachętami zapewnia quasi-eksperymentalny naturalny eksperyment, który można ocenić za pomocą analitycznego podejścia do zmiennych instrumentalnych. Lutz VAMC, Tomah VAMC, St. Louis VA Health Care System, Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, South Texas Veterans Health Care System, Salt Lake City VAMC, VA Portland Health Care System, Palo Alto VAMC, Tucson VAMC, System Opieki Zdrowotnej VA Nebraska-Western Iowa).
Dane wtórne z ankiety CIH Experience Survey / Ankieta VA Office of Patient Centered Care and Cultural Transformation: Badanie APPROACH polega głównie na przeprowadzeniu wtórnej analizy danych zgłoszonych przez pacjentów, zebranych w ramach ankiety VA OPCC&CT. Kryteria przyjęcia:
- Weteran
- Historia (przewlekłych) dolegliwości bólowych układu mięśniowo-szkieletowego odnotowanych w EHR w roku poprzedzającym wizytę indeksu oraz ból zgłaszany codziennie lub prawie codziennie przez 3 miesiące od wizyty indeksu CIH przy użyciu kwestionariusza kwalifikowalności
- 18-89 w dniu wizyty indeksowej CIH
Kryteria wyłączenia:
- rozpoznania poważnej choroby psychicznej w roku poprzedzającym rozpoczęcie CIH
- historia urazu rdzenia kręgowego
- hospitalizacja 30 dni przed rozpoczęciem CIH
- odnotowali używanie CIH w EHR w ciągu 6 miesięcy przed wizytą w indeksie CIH i zgłosili stosowanie CIH w ciągu 8 tygodni przed wizytą w indeksie CIH

A score of 50 indicates average physical health, as compared to the general population. Higher scores indicate better physical health. |
