在国防部高级康复中心(沃尔特里德国家军事医疗中心、无畏圣安东尼奥军事医疗中心和/或圣地亚哥海军医疗中心)参加康复计划的合格现役军人、退休人员或退伍军人将被考虑参加这项研究。
这项研究将着眼于接受过股骨、胫骨或双侧下肢截肢或保肢手术的军人。
参与者将在装有仪表的跑步机上接受跌倒预防培训(6 次培训课程)。
参与者将接受三项绩效评估:-在跑步机培训完成后立即进行,并在培训完成后的三个月和六个月内进行。
培训结束后,每个月两次,受试者将收到一封电子邮件,其中包含一份跟进的秋季调查问卷,用于监测他们是否跌倒以及跌倒周围的情况。
如果他们无法访问电子邮件,或者发送的电子邮件调查问卷未及时收到回复,将通过电话联系受试者。

受试者将是圣地亚哥海军医疗中心、C5 康复计划、无畏康复计划中心或沃尔特里德国家军事医疗中心康复计划的现有或过去患者。
相应的现场研究协调员将联系受试者并要求他们参与研究。

- 符合条件的现役和退役军人以及患有下肢创伤的退伍军人
- 经股截肢术、小腿截肢术、双侧截肢术和/或保肢术
