长时间的呼吸暂停和伴随的缺氧会导致脑损伤或死亡。
本研究旨在评估负责在美国医院或卫生系统中实施气道管理的麻醉提供者的熟练程度,包括麻醉师、注册注册护士麻醉师和麻醉学助理。
我们正试图通过量化实现成功气道管理所需的时间以及使用编程为模拟各种生理条件的高保真人体模型所需的尝试次数来建立熟练程度的基准水平。
然后,该基线信息可用于管理医院或卫生系统在未来做出的与气道管理相关的决策,或重新定义为执行这些程序而制定的政策和程序。

小组将包含麻醉师、CRNA 和 AA。

参与者将在健康条件下和有限的颈椎运动范围内对挪度 SimMan 3G 进行直接喉镜检查。
参与者将在健康条件下和完全舌头水肿的情况下在 Laerdal SimMan 3G 上进行 LMA 放置。

当参与者连接袋子/阀门并尝试通气导致出现呼气末二氧化碳(当设备正确放置时将显示)时,将记录三个程序中任何一个的成功尝试。
当参与者连接袋子/阀门装置并尝试通气以确认是否存在呼气末二氧化碳(如果装置放置不当则不会显示)时,将记录三个程序中任何一个的失败尝试。
三个连续的失败尝试将导致无法实现成功的气道管理。

时间将通过秒表手动测量。
当参与者拿起喉镜、视频喉镜或 LMA 表示他/她打算开始该程序时,将开始所有三个程序的时间测量。
时间测量将在人体模型检测到呼气末二氧化碳时结束,正如为此目的连接到人体模型的标准患者监视器上所证明的那样。
在失败的尝试和成功执行程序的后续努力期间,时间测量将继续。
潮气末二氧化碳测量成功、连续三次尝试执行程序失败或总共五分钟后,时间测量将停止。
