In der Wound-QoL sind 17 Items enthalten, die drei Subskalen zu Alltag, Körper und Psyche zugeordnet werden konnten. Das Papier präsentiert die Gesamtpunktzahl. Ein höherer Wert korreliert mit einer höheren wundbedingten Belastung, dh ein niedrigerer Wert weist auf eine höhere Lebensqualität hin. Geschätzte Leichtigkeit des chirurgischen Wundverschlusses. Die Wunde des Patienten wurde von mindestens zwei Chirurgen besprochen, um eine Einigung auf einer 14-Punkte-Skala „Ease of Closure“ zu erzielen. Dies wurde sowohl am Tag 0 als auch am Tag 21 durchgeführt. Die Skala reichte von einer Punktzahl von 0, was bedeutet, dass die Wunde geschlossen oder so klein war, dass keine Verschlusstechnik erforderlich war, bis zu einer Punktzahl von 13, was bedeutet, dass es nicht möglich war, die Wunde mit bekannten rekonstruktiven chirurgischen Techniken zu schließen.
