Principales criterios de inclusión:

  1. Hombres y mujeres de 18 a 65 años.
  2. Criterios de diagnóstico del DSM-5 para TLP al menos 3 meses antes de la visita de selección. La minientrevista neuropsiquiátrica internacional (MINI) se administrará en la selección para confirmar el diagnóstico de TLP, así como para confirmar que el sujeto no cumple con otros criterios de exclusión relevantes.
  3. Agitation-Aggression Psychiatric Inventory-Clinician Report (AAPI-CR) Puntuación de la subescala Agitation & Aggression (A/A) de > 16 (gravedad x frecuencia) sumada en los cuatro (4) ítems que componen la subescala A/A, y la suma de las puntuaciones de gravedad de la subescala A/A > 6.

Study discontinuation and study drug withdrawal are equivalent: all subjects withdrawn from study drug were discontinued from the study.

AESI: TEAEs of Special Interest. TEAEs as per severity of the adverse event: mild / moderate / severe. TEAEs as per outcome of the adverse event at the end of the trial: resolved / not resolved / resolving / resolved with sequelae / outcome=death / outcome=unknown.
