Women's Antioxidant and Folic Acid Cardiovascular Study では、ビタミン C (500 mg/日)、ビタミン E (1 日おきに 600 IU)、および/またはベータ カロテン (1 日おきに 50 mg) が主要な心血管イベントのリスクに及ぼす影響をテストしました。 (心筋梗塞、脳卒中、冠動脈血行再建術、または心血管死の複合結果)リスクが高い8171人の女性医療専門家の間で。
