2グループの二重盲検ランダム化縦断研究デザインを使用し、冠動脈バイパス移植術(CABG)を受けている52人の冠状動脈性心疾患(CHD)患者(60~80歳、26人がチアミン治療、26人がプラセボ)が認知評価に参加する。血中チアミン、乳酸、炎症マーカーレベルの評価。
私たちは、他の症状で観察されたように、チアミン注入が乳酸値や炎症マーカーのレベルを下げるのに役立つと提案します。

- 欧州心臓手術リスク評価システム II (EuroSCORE II) >1.5%
- オフポンプ手術
除外基準:
- ベースラインで認知症[CABG前5日以内のモントリオール認知評価(MoCA)<21]
- 現在のチアミン摂取量
- 既知のチアミンアレルギー
- 血糖値が制御されていない
- 病気のため同意できない
- 高乳酸血症の病歴
- 最近(数年以内、および/またはPI/共同PIの判断まで)の脳事故(意識喪失および/または脳震盪を引き起こす発作または頭部外傷)
- 脳卒中
- 診断された精神疾患(臨床的うつ病、統合失調症、躁うつ病)
- アルコールまたは薬物乱用の病歴のある患者
- 急性または慢性感染症(結核、肝炎、脳症)
- 神経変性疾患(アルツハイマー病またはパーキンソン病)と診断されている

CABG前後のCHD被験者に対するチアミン介入前後の血液病理および認知評価データに基づく血中乳酸、チアミン、炎症レベルの変化に関する所見が発表されたら、または受賞実績期間の終了までのいずれか早い方、血中濃度、認知データ、人口統計、気分、および臨床データ (個人識別子を除く) は、NIH がサポートするドメイン固有のデータ共有リポジトリ (NIMH データ アーカイブ) に保管されます。
すべてのデータには一貫した一意の識別子が付けられ、興味のある研究者がデータ リポジトリ内で簡単に見つけられるようになります。
データは、二次分析のために他の研究者がデータ リポジトリと共有した後、永久に利用できます。
