EYE-RES-102は、糖尿病性黄斑浮腫（DME）患者を対象に、実薬対照であるラニビズマブと比較して、2つの用量レベルのEYE103の有効性と安全性を評価する無作為化二重マスク重要研究です。

  • 1型または2型糖尿病を患っており、HbA1cが12%以下である。
  • -主にDMEの結果であると研究者によって判断された研究眼の視力低下がある。

除外基準:

  • 妊娠中または授乳中であること
  • -スクリーニング後90日以内の研究眼における白内障手術および/または低侵襲緑内障手術の病歴
  • スクリーニング後90日以内にステロイドまたはイットリウム・アルミニウム・ガーネット（YAG）レーザー嚢切開術による白内障手術の合併症の治療を受けている
  • 現在、網膜毒性が知られている薬剤（ヒドロキシクロロキン、ペントサンポリ硫酸ナトリウム、アミオダロンなど）を使用している

  • DMEの治療経験がある場合、記載された期間内に次のいずれかの治療歴がある場合:

    • -研究対象の眼のスクリーニング来院前の120日以内に、8 mgのアフリベルセプト（EYLEA HD）またはファリシマブ（VABYSMO）による以前の治療を受けている
    • -スクリーニング訪問から90日以内に、研究対象の眼に他の抗VEGF治療法（ラニビズマブ、ベバシズマブ、アフリベルセプト[2mg]、ブロルシズマブ、ペガプタニブナトリウム）を伴うIVTを受けている
