MEETの統合と使用性のテストを行います。 デザインイテレーションプロセスを使用して、開発された教育資料と対象となる推奨事項を既存のMillion Markerプラットフォームに統合し、100名の黒人コミュニティメンバーからなるコホートを使用して資料の使用性をテストします。
このプロジェクトのために開発された教育資料と推奨事項は、現在のMillion Marker教育プラットフォームを更新・追加します。 この更新されたプラットフォームであるMEETは、アフリカ系アメリカ人人口に対して文化的に配慮したフィードバックを組み込みます。 MEETは、使いやすいユーザーインターフェース、複数のエンゲージメントオプション、および科学翻訳・教育の組み込みを活用します。
研究者は、以下の条件を満たす追加の研究参加者を募集するために適格基準を使用します:a) 18歳以上であること、b) 書面および口頭での英語を理解できること、c) スマートフォンを所有していること、d) すべての研究評価を完了する意思があること。 募集はBCIのコミュニティ諮問委員会の支援を受けます。 再び、研究者は既存のBCIのネットワーク、メーリングリスト、およびソーシャルメディアプロモーションを活用して潜在的な参加者を募集します。 研究者は、約50%の女性と100%のアフリカ系アメリカ人を登録することを期待しています。
実現可能性と使用性のテストは仮想的に行われます。 募集され同意したコミュニティメンバー(n=100)は、プラットフォームを4週間使用します。 前後の調査は、開始時と4週間後に完了します。 調査は、環境衛生とインターネットリテラシー、健康アプリの使用、変化への準備と認識されたアイデンティティ、製品の使用、および乳がんリスクをカバーします。 調査結果は、ユーザーの認識と意識のギャップを特定し、教育およびマーケティング戦略に情報を提供します。 研究者は、参加者がMEETを使用し、個別化された推奨事項を受け取った後、環境衛生リテラシー、態度、知識、および行動が変化すると仮説を立てています。 参加者の行動の変化は、ライフスタイル行動と製品の使用の変化を調べることで比較・評価され、これは参加者の暴露ジャーナルを通じて捕捉されます。 研究者は、EDC含有製品の使用、レシートへの接触、プラスチックの使用削減などの減少が見られると期待しています。参加者はまた、プラットフォームの使用性に対するユーザーの認識を評価するために、適応されたシステム使用性スコア(SUS)79を記入します。 研究者は高いSUSスコアを得ることを期待しており、SUS結果とユーザーフィードバックに基づいて不足点に対処します。 フォローアップ調査は、時間の経過に伴う傾向を評価し、ユーザーフィードバックと行動をプラットフォームに組み込み始めるために比較されます。 収集された情報は、フェーズII助成金および将来の研究にも情報を提供します。
研究者は、MEET使用後の参加者の環境衛生リテラシー、態度、知識、および行動の変化を評価します。 参加者の回答に関する要約統計が生成されます。 変化は、個々の回答のペア値に基づいて計算されます。 研究者は、個々の回答および回答カテゴリー(態度、知識、行動)による割合の変化を分析します。 前後比較にはカイ二乗適合度検定が使用されます。 個々の参加者内での前後カテゴリー比較には、ウィルコクソンの順位和検定を使用して差異を比較します。
期待されるサンプルサイズ100は、MEET使用前(ベースライン)とMEET使用後の参加者の行動と態度の差異を検出するのに十分な検出力を提供します。
