포함 기준:
전신 마취(단독 또는 국소/신경축 마취와 병용), 신경축 마취 또는 신경총 차단(진정제 사용 및 사용 안 함) 하에서 선택적 또는 응급 비산과 병원 내 외과 수술을 받는 환자.
제외 기준:
- 18세 미만
- 산과 절차 또는 임신 중 모든 절차
- 신경축 및 신경총 마취를 제외하고 국소 마취 단독
- 수술실 밖에서의 절차
- 이전 수술 후 합병증과 관련된 절차
- 이식
- 수술 전 기관 삽관 환자
- 퇴원 시 살아있는 환자에 대해 하루 미만의 체류가 필요한 것으로 정의되는 외래 환자 절차.

포함 사항: 경미한 호흡 부전, 중증 호흡 부전, 급성 폐 손상(ALI)/급성 호흡 곤란 증후군(ARDS), 의심되는 폐 감염, 폐 침윤, 흉막 삼출, 무기폐, 기흉, 기관지 경련, 흡인성 폐염, 심폐 부종. 센터의 일반적인 환자 관리를 수정하지 마십시오.
