Effecten van langdurige dubbele plaatjesaggregatieremmers met clopidogrel plus acetylsalicylzuur (ASA) na percutane revascularisatie van de onderste ledematen bij patiënten met perifere arteriële aandoeningen
Het doel van de huidige studie was het evalueren van de prognostische impact van verlengde dubbele plaatjesaggregatieremmers (DAPT) met acetylsalicylzuur plus clopidogrel op de incidentie van ernstige cardiovasculaire bijwerkingen en ernstige bijwerkingen van ledematen na percutane revascularisatie van de onderste ledematen bij patiënten met perifere arteriële slagaderverkalking van de onderste ledematen. ziekte (LE-PAD).

Inclusiecriteria:
- LE-PAD in stadium 2 van de classificatie van Fontaine (claudicatio intermittens)
- succesvolle PTA van aorto-iliacale, femoro-popliteale of onder-de-kniesegmenten
Uitsluitingscriteria:
- kritieke ischemie van de ledematen
- recent acuut coronair syndroom (< 12 maanden)
- recent cerebrovasculair voorval (< 12 maanden)
- recente myocard-, halsslagader- of perifere revascularisatie (< 12 maanden)
- recente voorgeschiedenis van bloedingen (< 12 maanden)
- andere indicatie voor behandeling met clopidogrel
- indicatie voor antistolling
- gedecompenseerd hartfalen
- kwaadaardig neoplasma

Invloed van verlengde vs. korte dubbele plaatjesaggregatieremmers na PTA op de incidentie van ernstige nadelige cardiovasculaire gebeurtenissen (overlijden door cardiovasculaire oorzaak, myocardinfarct, beroerte, revascularisatie van kransslagader of halsslagader) + de incidentie van ernstige nadelige bijwerkingen van ledematen (restenose, occlusie of nieuwe revascularisatie van doellaesie, nieuwe stenose, occlusie of revascularisatie van niet-doellaesie, begin van acute en kritieke ischemie van ledematen, amputatie).
