UroCCR-database: Frans onderzoeksnetwerk voor nierkanker (Nationale multidisciplinaire klinische en biologische database voor nierkanker)

In het kader van nierkankerzorg, met de recente diversificatie van de behandelingsmodaliteiten van deze tumoren en de invoering van het concept van multidisciplinair team, werd het noodzakelijk geacht om de onderzoeksinstrumenten aan te passen aan de realiteit van de gezondheidszorg voor patiënten met nierkanker.

UroCCR is het Franse onderzoeksnetwerk voor nierkanker, gefinancierd door het Franse Nationale Kankerinstituut als onderdeel van de projectoproep voor klinische en biologische databanken (BCB). Afhankelijk van de presentatie van het geval en de evolutie van de ziekte, kunnen meer dan duizend verschillende variabelen worden geregistreerd. Tegelijkertijd worden biologische monsters (plasma, urine, gezond en tumorweefsel) verzameld.

Deze databank bevat een aanzienlijke hoeveelheid informatie en heeft een hoge toegevoegde waarde, aangezien ze het resultaat is van meerdere expertises die het niet alleen een multidisciplinaire tool maken, maar ook multicenter, wat fundamenteel, translationeel en klinisch onderzoek mogelijk maakt.

Secundaire doelstellingen:

  1. - Evalueer en vergelijk verschillende chirurgische benaderingen bij de behandeling van nierkanker,
  2. - Evalueer en vergelijk de veiligheid/werkzaamheid van verschillende geneesmiddelen bij de behandeling van nierkanker.
