Inklusjonskriterier

  • Mild kognitiv svikt (MCI) på grunn av Alzheimers sykdom (AD) eller mild AD demens i samsvar med National Institute on Aging og Alzheimers Association (NIA-AA) kjernekriterier.
  • Global Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR)-score på 0,5 til 1,0 og en CDR-Memory Box-score på 0,5 og høyere ved screening og baseline.
  • Bevis på AD-patologi.
  • Objektiv svekkelse i episodisk hukommelse som indikert med minst 1 standardavvik under aldersjustert gjennomsnitt i Wechsler Memory Scale IV-Logical Memory Subtest II (WMS-IV LM II).
  • Score for minimental statusundersøkelse (MMSE) ≥ 22 til 30 (inklusive).

Eksklusjonskriterier

  • Ethvert bevis på en tilstand som kan påvirke kognisjon annet enn AD.
  • Kontraindikasjoner for PET-avbildning.
  • Manglende evne til å tolerere eller kontraindikasjon til magnetisk resonansavbildning.
  • Enhver alvorlig medisinsk tilstand som etter etterforskerens mening kan påvirke deltakerens sikkerhet eller forstyrre studievurderinger.
  • Geriatrisk depresjonsskala (GDS) score større enn eller lik 8 ved screening.
