背景:
血压在一般人群中呈连续单峰分布。 水平高于第 80 个百分位数的个体患有高血压,这是心血管疾病发病率和死亡率的主要原因。 超过 95% 的高血压患者没有其他原发性疾病,据说患有原发性高血压。 系谱和双胞胎研究表明,遗传差异占血压个体间差异的很大一部分。 1984 年开始研究时,尚未发现可作为原发性高血压有用标志物或可作为个体间血压变异性生物学基础的探针的基因位点。 环境因素也会影响血压;尤其是增加饮食中氯化钠的摄入量会使血压升高,并可能导致某些人患上原发性高血压。 据推测,钠离子代谢的基因决定的改变发生在一部分人群中,这些人群在暴露于通常的膳食钠摄入量范围后更容易患上高血压
