年龄在 18 至 55 岁之间的男性和女性受试者，确诊为 2010 年 MS McDonald，发病后有复发过程（即 RRMS 和 SPMS 叠加复发）。
受试者必须患有活动性疾病，证据是随机分组前 12 至 1 个月内发生一次或多次 MS 发作，或随机分组前 24 至 1 个月内发生两次或多次 MS 发作，或一次或多次 MS 发作在随机分组前 6 个月内进行的 MRI 脑部钆增强 (Gd+) 病变。
