Inclusion Criteria:
- Diagnosed with recurrent major depressive disorder
Exclusion Criteria:
- Patients with treatment resistance for depression
- History of alcohol abuse/dependence, substance abuse/dependence within 6 months
- Has clinically significant unstable medical condition
- Has significant risk of suicide
