Inklusionskriterier:
Patienter, hvis kliniske resultater opfylder 5 eller flere kriterier ud af de følgende 8
- Feber ≥ 38,5 ℃ i ≥ 7 dage
- Splenomegali ≥ 3 FB under venstre subkostal margin
- Cytopenier, der påvirker ≥ 2 af 3 afstamninger i PB Hb < 9 g/L Blodplade < 100 x 109 /L ANC < 1,0 x 109 /L
- Hypertriglyceridæmi og/eller hypofibrinogenemi (fastende triglycerider ≥ 265 mg/dL, fibrinogen ≤ 1,5 g/L)
- Hæmofagocytose i BM eller milt eller LN
- Lav eller fraværende NK-celleaktivitet (i henhold til lokal laboratoriereference)
- Serum-ferritin ≥ 500 mcg/L
- Opløselig CD25(sIL-2-receptor) ≥ 2.400 U/ml
- 18 år og derover.
- Alle patienter (eller hans/hendes familie, når patienten ikke kan underskrive samtykkeerklæringen på grund af sine generelle forhold) giver skriftligt informeret samtykke efter retningslinjer fra institutionens udvalg for humanforskning.
Ekskluderingskriterier:
- HLH fra malignitet (såsom lymfom, myelom, leukæmi og anden solid tumor)
- HLH fra reumatisk lidelse (såsom SLE, AOSD, antiphospholipid antistof syndrom)
- Patienter med psykiatriske lidelser eller psykiske defekter, der er alvorlige med hensyn til at gøre overholdelse af behandlingen ulig og umuliggøre informeret samtykke
- Ammende kvinder, gravide, kvinder i den fødedygtige alder, som ikke ønsker tilstrækkelig prævention
- Mandlig patient, der afviser metoderne til at undgå graviditet via metoder som abstinens, barrieremetode (kondom osv.).
- Patienter med diagnosen tidligere malignitet, medmindre de er sygdomsfrie i mindst 5 år efter behandling med helbredende hensigter (undtagen kurativt behandlet non-melanom hudkræft, in situ carcinom eller cervikal intraepitelial neoplasi)
