Inklusionskriterier:

  • Diagnosticeret med trin II/III karcinom i spiserøret eller gastroøsofageal junction
  • Afsluttet præoperativ kemostrålebehandling efterfulgt af operation
  • Diagnosticeret med resterende patologisk sygdom efter at være blevet kirurgisk frigjort for sygdom med negative marginer efter fuldstændig resektion

Ekskluderingskriterier:

  • Diagnosticeret med cervikal esophageal carcinom
  • Diagnosticeret med trin IV resektabel sygdom
  • Modtog ikke samtidig kemoradioterapi før operationen
  • Deltagere, der har modtaget en levende/svækket vaccine inden for 30 dage efter den første behandling
