Enquête sur les biomarqueurs pronostiques chez les patients atteints de carcinome urothélial traités avec des régimes à base de platine
Le cancer de la vessie (BC) est une tumeur maligne hétérogène avec des résultats lamentables. Malgré le traitement, les taux de survie globale à 5 ans pour le MIBC sont <50 %, avec de nombreux patients qui ne répondent pas ou sont inaptes, ce qui nécessite des biomarqueurs pour sélectionner ceux qui sont les plus susceptibles de répondre ou d'être aptes au traitement

Description détaillée
Dans cette étude, les associations entre les gènes les plus fréquemment mutés et les caractéristiques clinicopathologiques ont été évaluées, ainsi que l'importance pronostique de la présence de mutations dans les gènes les plus mutés et les gènes de réponse aux dommages à l'ADN (DDR) en termes de survie globale (OS).
De plus, la densité globale des lymphocytes infiltrant les tumeurs (TIL) a été mesurée, analysée par immunohistochimie l'expression de PD-L1, des quatre protéines MMR (MLH1, MSH2, MSH6 et PMS2) et des infiltrats de lymphocytes T cytotoxiques CD8+ tumoraux ou stromaux et évalué leur association avec entre eux, les meilleurs gènes mutés et les paramètres clinicopathologiques disponibles ainsi que leur rôle dans le pronostic.

Il s'agit d'une analyse transnationale avec des échantillons biologiques de patients atteints de carcinome urothélial traités avec des régimes à base de platine.
Les patients ont été traités dans les départements d'oncologie affiliés au Hellenic Cooperative Oncology Group (HeCOG).
