Monitoraggio delle tossicità correlate al trattamento da agenti mirati orali e immunoterapia tra i pazienti con carcinoma a cellule renali (RCC) avanzato utilizzando il software Carevive, uno studio di fattibilità di Fase II a braccio singolo

Criterio di inclusione:

  • Diagnosi di carcinoma a cellule renali confermato istologicamente di qualsiasi sottotipo con evidenza patologica o radiografica di malattia metastatica
  • Maggiore di 18 anni
  • Un oncologo partecipante al Wilmot Cancer Center ha stabilito che il candidato dovrebbe iniziare una terapia orale mirata o un'immunoterapia per il trattamento del suo RCC avanzato; questo può riguardare la terapia di prima linea o qualsiasi linea successiva
  • In grado di fornire il consenso informato scritto
  • Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese e autodichiarazione di alfabetizzazione

Criteri di esclusione:

  • Le donne non possono allattare al seno
  • Non ha un accesso regolare a Internet

Sperimentale: Utilizzo del software Carevive
Segnalazione e gestione degli effetti collaterali della terapia mirata orale o dell'immunoterapia, attraverso il software Carevive, in pazienti affetti da carcinoma a cellule renali (RCC) avanzato.
In questo studio, Carevive fornirà un collegamento ai soggetti in modo da poter completare un sondaggio online. Il sondaggio avrà luogo settimanalmente per le prime 12 settimane dello studio e successivamente sarà intervallato a settimane alterne. Le domande si concentreranno principalmente sugli effetti collaterali della terapia antitumorale, nonché su alcune domande sulla conformità dei farmaci e sull'utilizzo dell'assistenza sanitaria. Dopo il completamento del sondaggio, al soggetto verrà fornito un piano di cura con opzioni di autogestione a domicilio per le tossicità legate al farmaco.
