ACT per Ridurre la Morbidità e la Mortalità nei Pazienti Sottoposti a Trapianto di Cellule Staminali Ematopoietiche (HCT) (ACTivate)
Questo studio è una sperimentazione controllata randomizzata di fase 2, multicentrica, per testare l'applicazione della Terapia dell'Accettazione e dell'Impegno (ACT) nei pazienti sottoposti a trapianto di cellule staminali ematopoietiche (HCT).
L'ACT è un intervento di terapia cognitivo-comportamentale basato sull'evidenza che enfatizza la flessibilità psicologica e i comportamenti, aiutando i pazienti trapiantati a concentrarsi su azioni che possono contribuire a mantenere un'adeguata attività fisica nonostante il disagio fisico ed emotivo.

Criteri di inclusione del paziente:
- Capacità del partecipante di comprendere questo studio e disponibilità del partecipante a firmare un consenso informato scritto. NOTA: il consenso remoto/elettronico tramite REDCap è consentito secondo la politica e l'approvazione dell'IRB.
- Dichiarata disponibilità a rispettare tutte le procedure di studio e le considerazioni sullo stile di vita e disponibilità per la durata dello studio
- Piano di sottoporsi a trapianto allogenico di cellule staminali ematopoietiche (HCT) in circa 30 giorni
- Maschi e/o femmine di età compresa tra 18 e 80 anni
- Accordo ad aderire alle Considerazioni sullo Stile di Vita per tutta la durata dello studio
- Accesso alle risorse necessarie per partecipare a un intervento basato sulla tecnologia (cioè computer, smartphone, accesso a Internet). NOTA: uno smartphone sarà fornito ai partecipanti se necessario.
- Capacità di leggere/scrivere in inglese o spagnolo (poiché non disponiamo di interventisti ACT formati in altre lingue)

- Caregiver non disposto a iscriversi (come standard di cura, tutti i pazienti HCT devono avere un caregiver, ma i caregiver possono rifiutarsi di partecipare a questo studio, il che renderebbe il paziente non idoneo per questo studio)
- Diagnosi di una malattia psichiatrica o situazione sociale che limiterebbe l'aderenza ai requisiti dello studio
- Partecipazione contemporanea a un altro studio di ricerca sull'intervento comportamentale.
- Restrizioni di attività che limitano la capacità di impegnarsi in attività fisica intensa
Criteri di esclusione del caregiver:

I partecipanti del gruppo ACTivate parteciperanno alle sessioni ACTivate.

Le sessioni ACTivate si basano sull'ACT e allenano le abilità di flessibilità psicologica per aiutare pazienti e caregiver a seguire le raccomandazioni per l'attività fisica e la nutrizione di fronte a un percorso di trattamento incerto e difficile, effetti collaterali e complicazioni.
Le sessioni verranno condotte congiuntamente (includono sia il paziente che il caregiver).
Gli interventisti saranno professionisti della psicologia di livello magistrale.
Tutte le sessioni verranno condotte a distanza e registrate.
