中等度から重度の安定した慢性閉塞性肺疾患患者を対象に、臭化アクリジニウムを2回投与し、プラセボと比較して12週間投与し、その後40週間の評価を行った場合の有効性、安全性、忍容性を評価するランダム化二重盲検プラセボ対照研究臭化アクリジニウムの高用量の影響
この研究の目的は、中等度から重度の安定した慢性閉塞性肺疾患の治療において、臭化アクリジニウムの用量の有効性、安全性、忍容性をプラセボと比較して評価することです。
研究期間は56週間となる。 2週間の慣らし期間と、それに続く12週間の二重盲検プラセボ対照治療期間。
その後、40週間の非盲検治療期間と2週間のフォローアップ電話が続きます。
すべての患者は、40週間のオープンラベル治療期間中に高級臭化アクリジニウムの投与を受けます。

- 2008 年の慢性閉塞性肺疾患に関する世界的イニシアチブ (GOLD) ガイドラインで定義されている、安定した中等度から重度の COPD の診断。気管支拡張薬後の FEV1/FVC < 70%、および気管支拡張薬後の FEV1 ≧ 30% かつ < 80% の予測値
- 現在または元喫煙者
除外基準:
- 初診前3ヶ月以内にCOPDの急性増悪で入院した患者
- 訪問1の前の6週間に気道感染症またはCOPDの増悪
- COPD以外の臨床的に重大な呼吸器疾患、心血管疾患、または精神疾患を患っている患者
- 医療記録から確認された喘息の病歴または存在
- 1日あたり15時間以上の酸素療法の慢性的な使用
- HIVおよび/または活動性肝炎による制御不能な感染症を患っている患者
- 吸入抗コリン薬に対する過敏反応の既往歴のある患者
- 過去6か月以内の心筋梗塞、過去3か月以内に新たに診断された不整脈、不安定狭心症、薬物療法やその他の介入の変更が必要な不安定不整脈など、臨床的に重大な心血管疾患を患っている患者。
