- 2008년 만성 폐쇄성 폐 질환에 대한 글로벌 이니셔티브(GOLD) 지침에 의해 정의된 안정적인 중등도에서 중증 COPD의 진단; 기관지확장제 후 FEV1/FVC < 70% 및 기관지확장제 후 FEV1 ≥ 30% 및 < 80% 예측
- 현재 또는 과거 흡연자
제외 기준:
- 초진 전 3개월 이내 급성 COPD 악화로 입원한 환자
- 방문 1 전 6주 동안 호흡기 감염 또는 COPD 악화
- COPD, 심혈관 질환 또는 정신 질환 이외의 임상적으로 중요한 호흡기 질환이 있는 환자
- 의료 기록에서 확인된 천식 병력 또는 존재
- 하루 15시간 이상 산소 요법을 만성적으로 사용
- HIV 및/또는 활동성 간염으로 인한 조절되지 않는 감염 환자
- 흡입형 항콜린제에 대한 과민반응의 병력이 있는 환자
