1. 40歳以上の男性または女性患者
2. COPDの病歴（慢性閉塞性肺疾患のためのグローバルイニシアチブ[GOLD] 2010による）スクリーニング（Visit 1）の少なくとも12か月前に、2年連続で3か月の慢性生産性咳嗽に関連する（他の原因による）生産性の咳を除く）。慢性気管支炎の患者のみが含まれます（付随する肺気腫は許可されます）
3. 1 秒後の努力呼気量 (FEV1)/努力肺活量 (FVC) 比 (気管支拡張薬後) < スクリーニング時の 70% (訪問 1)
4. FEV1 (気管支拡張薬後) スクリーニング時の予測値の ≤ 50% (来院 1)
5.スクリーニング前の12か月以内に中等度または重度のCOPD増悪が少なくとも2回記録されている（訪問1）
6.患者はスクリーニングの3か月以上前にFDC LABA / ICS治療を受けている必要があります（訪問1）
7. 元喫煙者（少なくとも 1 年前の禁煙と定義）または現在の喫煙者（過去 1 年以内に禁煙した患者を含む）の両方で、少なくとも 20 パックイヤーの喫煙歴がある

除外基準:

1.中等度または重度のCOPD増悪および/またはスクリーニングから4週間以内に抗生物質または全身性グルココルチコステロイドで治療されたCOPD増悪（訪問1）（すなわち、患者は臨床的に安定している必要があります）
2.既知のアルファ-1-アンチトリプシン欠乏症
3.喘息の現在の診断（制御されているか制御されていないかのいずれか）（注：小児喘息の病歴は除外されません。）
4.ボディマス指数（BMI）≧45kg/m2
5. 基底細胞がんまたは扁平上皮皮膚がん以外のがんの既往歴（5年以内）または現在診断されている患者
