  • 左心室駆出率が 0.40 以下である

除外基準:

  • ニューヨーク心臓協会（NYHA）クラスIVのうっ血性心不全（CHF）を患っているか、無作為化時に非代償性CHFを患っている。
  • ランダム化後30日以内に不安定狭心症または心筋梗塞を患っている。
  • トルサード・ド・ポワントまたは心臓移植の既往歴がある
