この 24 週間の無作為化対照試験では、2 型糖尿病で血糖コントロールが不良な (HbA1c >8.5%) インスリンを必要とする入院患者が、基礎インスリン グラルギン U300 (TOUJEO®) を含む標準治療のインスリン療法と追加の背景療法 (非糖尿病に焦点を当てた退院指示セット(DOS)と、インスリンの滴定と外来患者のフォローアップを促進するためのフォローアップコミュニケーション、または強化された標準ケア(ESC)のいずれかを使用して、インスリンおよび食事中のインスリン療法)。
222 人の患者 (2 型糖尿病) が募集されます。
2型糖尿病(HbA1c > 8.5%)の入院患者で、1日あたり少なくとも10単位の基礎インスリンを受けており、インフォームドコンセントを提供し、研究手順を完了することができます。
すべての患者は、退院チームによって決定された初期用量でグラルギンU300で退院します。
DOS群の患者は、退院命令の一部として基礎インスリンの自己滴定の指示を受け取ります。

患者は、2 週目、6 週目にフォローアップの電話を受け、12 週目と 24 週目に直接訪問されます。
