PREVENT研究の臨床試験は、ヒトパピローマウイルス(HPV)ワクチン接種患者リマインダー介入群の2つの患者ランダム化対照試験(RCT)で、シーマー地域保健センターが運営する地方の診療所で実施される。 BootCamp 翻訳 (BCT) アクティビティの結果は英語とスペイン語で実施され、PREVENT RCT の開発およびメッセージング戦略に情報を提供します。 BCT 活動は RCT の一部ではありません。
PREVENT RCT は、次に必要な HPV ワクチン接種の完了と複数回投与 HPV ワクチンシリーズの予定どおりの完了を評価する 3 群患者ランダム化比較試験を実施します。 各試験の研究部門は、自動リマインダー、自動およびライブリマインダー、および通常のケアで構成されます。 治験に選ばれた児童および青少年の親/介護者は、州の予防接種登録にリンクされた電子健康記録に適用される確立された研究基準を使用して選ばれます。 最小限のリスクの研究として、介入のみの場合、研究者はインフォームド・コンセントの免除を申請します。 RCTは標準治療の一環として実施され、患者は自分が治験を受けていることに気づかない。 配信されるワクチン接種メッセージには、BCT 活動および地域の政策の指示に従ってオプトアウトの選択肢が含まれます。

- 9歳から17歳までの小児/青少年(C/A)の親/介護者(P/C)(つまり、HPVワクチン接種の対象年齢)。
- 現役のクリニック患者(つまり、過去 12 か月以内にクリニックを受診した患者)との P/C。そして
- 英語またはスペイン語を話せるP/C。
除外基準:
- 過去にHPVワクチン接種歴を除外したC/AのP/C(例:ワクチン接種が完了している、または期限が切れていない)。
- CDCのHPVワクチン接種推奨に影響を与える臨床症状(妊娠など)を持つC/AのP/C。
- CDC HPV 推奨に影響を与える他の要因を伴う C/A の損益計算書。そして
- スペイン語も英語も話せないP/C。
