이 임상 연구는 106개 연구 센터에서 수행된 자폐증, 아스퍼거 장애 또는 PDD-NOS가 있는 소아과 외래 환자를 대상으로 48주, 다기관, 다국적, 공개 확장 연구였습니다. 환자는 다음과 같은 경우 이 장기 확장 연구에 적합했습니다.
- 공개 라벨 연구 MEM MD 67 완료, 또는
- 공개 라벨 연구 MEM-MD-91 완료, 또는

- 연구 MEM-MD-67, MEM-MD-68, MEM-MD-91을 완료했거나 치료 반응 상실 기준을 충족하여 연구 MEM-MD-68을 중단한 환자.
- 본 연구의 방문 1(이전 연구의 마지막 방문)에서 신체 검사 및 실험실 검사로부터 정상적인 결과를 가짐. 모든 비정상적인 소견은 조사자에 의해 임상적으로 중요하지 않은 것으로 간주되고 그렇게 문서화되어야 합니다.
